New York Craps

Distinct differences include the use of a Lookout (Ladderman) who sits high above the table on a stand, the 5 percent dealer charge, and the change in the traditional layout of the table. The table does not include spaces for placing Come or Don't Come bets, and players must buy box numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10, which give a payback according to correct odds. Dealers charge 5 percent on the total amount wagered on a player's box number bet.
Scarney Craps
This version of Craps is similar to both Bank Craps and New York Craps. Scarney Craps lacks the 5 percent box number charge but does not have a space for Come and Don't Come bets on the table layout. In contrast to New York craps, the game does make use of place betting, and proposition bets in Scarney Craps usually pay a unit more than in Bank Craps.
